The
objective of the parallel workshops is to focus on the lessons
learned through experiences from the African and Mediterranean
regions in context with other regions. The participants brainstorm
on implementing adaptation and mitigation activities and explore
opportunities for cooperation.

The parallel workshops will discuss requirements in preparing
adaptation strategies; they will focus on means to integrate
all efforts in the ongoing sector plans at national level, and
on improving financing of sustainable development and climate
change protection in African and the Mediterranean regions.
In each workshop panelists will react on the concept paper in
5 minutes before the discussion starts. The designated institution
for the organization will be responsible for the organization
and logistics of the workshop including the list of panelists,
the method of delivery and the preparation of the venue, documentation
/ synthesis.
